About Authors.Asia

Authors.asia is about a few different broad Asia-centric literary categories: a) authors from any country, of any nationality, writing about Asia and b) Asian authors translated to English writing about most anything.  The contributors to this blog are, for the most part, literate in English only; what a joy it must be to read some of these authors in their native languages. While immense credit must be given to translators and to their subtle skills applied to capturing the tones and voice of a written work, surely something is lost. Nonetheless, for now at least, we’ll focus on Asian authors translated to English.

And because we just love to read, we will occasionally do a review on books we’ve read that have been written by anyone of any nationality or country that have been translated into or are origninally written in English — just because they are great books that we have to share with everyone out there who loves to read.
